    SuppStacker uses privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

    Chrome Extension

    The SuppStacker Chrome extension helps you see what health experts say about supplements while browsing Amazon product pages. Here is exactly what it does with your data:

    What the extension reads

    On Amazon product pages, the extension reads publicly visible product information (title, brand, and product identifier) to determine whether the product is a supplement. This information is processed entirely on your device and is not transmitted to any server.

    Network requests

    To identify supplements, the extension downloads a catalog of known supplement names from the SuppStacker API. This request is made once and cached locally for 24 hours. It does not include any information about you or the pages you visit.

    When you click the expert reviews badge to open the review panel, the extension sends supplement identifiers and names to the SuppStacker API to retrieve expert review data. No product identifiers (such as ASINs), personal information, or Amazon account data are included in these requests.

    The review panel also loads first-party expert avatar images from SuppStacker-owned web infrastructure so the interface can render expert photos consistently.

    When the extension successfully loads expert data, it also sends a minimal, pseudonymous usage event to the SuppStacker API so SuppStacker can measure first use and retained use of the extension. These events include an anonymous install ID, the extension version, whether a product identifier was present, and the matched supplement ID when available. They do not include your Amazon account data, raw product identifiers, or the full page content.

    After you open the review panel, the extension may also let you continue shopping on Amazon from the panel itself. That Amazon continuation is user-initiated. When you choose it, the extension can send you back to the current Amazon product page with a SuppStacker affiliate tag attached. SuppStacker may earn from qualifying purchases.

    Local storage

    The extension stores a cached copy of the supplement catalog on your device, refreshed daily, along with the current product context and temporary extension state needed to preserve your place when you explicitly continue shopping on Amazon. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted.

    Third parties

    The extension sends operational and analytics requests to SuppStacker-owned services. Chrome Web Store listing views and installs are also measured through Google-managed analytics on the Chrome Web Store page itself. SuppStacker does not send your Amazon account data or raw product identifiers to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
