CoQ10
Evening with food
Coenzyme Q10 is a fat-soluble compound produced naturally in every cell of the body, where it plays a critical role in mitochondrial energy production. Found in highest concentrations in energy-demanding organs like the heart, liver, and kidneys, endogenous CoQ10 levels decline significantly with age and with statin use. It exists in two forms — ubiquinone (oxidized) and ubiquinol (reduced) — both widely available as supplements.
